To provide accounting and tax agent services we may collect and hold personal information including:
- Your name, date of birth, and contact details (address, phone, email);
- Your Tax File Number (TFN), Australian Business Number (ABN) and other government identifiers;
- Financial information — income, expenses, deductions, assets, liabilities and bank account details;
- Identification documents (such as a driver’s licence or passport) required to verify your identity for the ATO;
- Employment, business, superannuation and investment records; and
- Any other information you provide to us in connection with our services.

We collect personal information directly from you — through our website contact form, email, phone, WhatsApp, engagement letters and in meetings. Where you authorise us to, we may also collect information from third parties such as the Australian Taxation Office (ATO), your employer, financial institutions, or your previous accountant.

We use your personal information to:
- Provide the accounting, taxation, bookkeeping and advisory services you engage us for;
- Prepare and lodge income tax returns, activity statements and other documents with the ATO and ASIC;
- Communicate with you and respond to your enquiries;
- Meet our professional, legal and regulatory obligations, including under the Tax Agent Services Act 2009; and
- Administer our business and maintain our records.

- The ATO, ASIC and other government agencies as required to provide our services or comply with the law;
- Trusted third parties who help us deliver our services — for example cloud accounting providers (such as Xero, MYOB or QuickBooks), auditors, and IT service providers — who are bound by confidentiality;
- Other parties where you have given us your consent, or where we are required or authorised by law.
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information.

Some of the software and cloud services we use to store or process information may hold data on servers located outside Australia. Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to ensure your information is handled in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles.

We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure — including secure systems, access controls and confidentiality obligations on our team. When information is no longer required and we are not obliged to retain it, we take reasonable steps to destroy or de-identify it.

You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate, out of date or incomplete. Contact us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable time. In limited circumstances permitted by law we may decline a request, in which case we will explain why.

When you submit our website contact form, we collect the details you provide (such as your name, phone, email and message) in order to respond to your enquiry. Our website is served over a secure (HTTPS) connection. We do not currently use tracking or advertising cookies. If this changes, we will update this policy.
