Business & company tax — compliant, clear and planned ahead.
Year-end should give you two things: lodgments that are right, and a clear view of where the business stands. We prepare returns and financial statements for companies, trusts, partnerships and sole traders — and plan ahead with you, so there are fewer surprises at tax time.

What's the difference between a company and a sole-trader return?
A sole trader reports business income in their personal return at individual rates. A company lodges its own return and pays the company tax rate; profits taken as wages or dividends are then taxed in the owners' hands, often with franking credits. Companies also prepare financial statements and meet ASIC obligations.
Do you prepare financial statements as well as the return?
Yes — profit and loss, balance sheet and notes, consistent with the tax return and ready for your bank or a finance application.
Can you help with a trust or partnership?
Yes — returns, distribution statements and trustee resolutions for discretionary and unit trusts and for partnerships, plus advice on whether your structure still fits.
When are company tax returns due?
It depends on the entity and its lodgment history. Clients of a registered tax agent generally have a later due date under the ATO's lodgment program, provided earlier returns are up to date. We confirm the dates that apply to you and send reminders well ahead.
We're behind on our lodgments — can you fix it?
Yes. We bring overdue company, trust and BAS lodgments up to date, reconcile the accounts and deal with the ATO on your behalf — including applying for a payment plan if you need one.
